I keep pretty busy as a single parent and working as a firefighter, but do manage to get some free time evey now and then. I love spend time with my kids....Hope it pays off and they take care of dear old day in my later years.

I have been a firefighter for the 14 years. Firefighting is a great job with several things to do. At this time im am assigned to a ladder truck (by the way you can see it at Ladder54.com) and have been doing truck work for 11 years. I am also on our Special Ops team which specializes in high and low angle,confined space, water,heavy or any other type of technical rescue.

Firefighting is one of my passions but I also have several other interests. I love to ski and though I may not look graceful I do have a lot of fun at it. I have taught both of my kids to ski so I always have ski partners. I also spend a few hours in the gym a day working out. I got started in weightlifting when I was young and never gave it up. Its one way to help you keep young.
